Prevention starts with identification of the problem. We train officials in the criminal justice, social protection, and immigration sectors on critical human trafficking issues, like victim identification, trafficker prosecution, and judicial proceedings. After identification comes action. Willow partners with the highest levels of government to reform systems and policies that will protect victims, prevent trafficking, and improve the criminal justice system.

Our research-based and grassroots prevention programs spread awareness and provide education to community leaders who have the influence to protect their communities from trafficking. Our prevention methods also facilitate better legal remedies for survivors coupled with stronger penalties for traffickers.
