Reza Jahangiri serves as the chairman of the board of Willow International. Reza first became involved with Willow in 2011 after visiting one of their aftercare homes in Uganda. He was struck by the need – both the number of survivors in need of help, as well as the urgency to increase awareness of human trafficking. Since joining the board in 2015, Willow International has grown significantly in staff size and budget, and has increased the number of survivors in its care.
Reza is the founder and chief executive officer of American Advisors Group (AAG) and has brought Willow’s story to his company’s 1,200+ employees. He works as co-chairman on the National Reverse Mortgage Lenders Association (NRMLA) board of directors and is co-chairman of the association’s policy committee, dedicated to the efficient implementation of critical industry reforms. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Irvine and his Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, California.
Reza is a skateboarding, guitar playing son of Iranian refugees, and a fan of boxing and tennis. A life goal of Reza’s is to open his own listening room and recording studio.
